What We Do
We are a non-profit organization whose only function is to educate and mobilize the Los Angeles County public about poverty in the region. Share With the Other LA generates outreach programs and creative media campaigns to inspire LA to help LA. We make positive changes in the lives of families in need by building partnerships with schools, businesses, volunteers, donors and citizen to reduce hunger and poverty in this county. We are advised by and work with a consortium of poverty-relief organizations and community civic, political, media and religious leaders. Donations are made to us via tax-exempt Community Media Project, a 501c3 specially created as the donor arm of the campaign.
