OUR SAVIOR CENTER FOOD PANTRY - www.oursaviourcenter.org/programs09.html: An over-the-counter food distribution site and Emergency Food & Shelter Program (EFSP) food recipient, assisting an average of 150 households on an average business day. Receives food through the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank (LARF), U.S. Department of Agriculture, several churches, and community businesses.
SOVA FOOD PANTRY OF LOS ANGELES - www.jfsla.org/sova/: A project of Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, Sova (Hebrew for "eat and be satisfied") fights hunger in Los Angeles at three community food pantries by assisting more than 2,500 needy persons a month. Sova provides free groceries and supportive services that help clients move toward self-sufficiency, and anti-hunger advocacy and education to the frail elderly, chronically ill, unemployed and underemployed, working families, victims of domestic violence, immigrants, homeless, and veterans. WESTSIDE FOOD BANK - www.westsidefoodbankca.org/: The Westside Food Bank distributes some four million pounds of food annually in the Santa Monica area. The organization serves seven meals (equals five pounds) of food for every dollar contributed, and sponsors an annual 5K HungerWalk in October. The Westside Food Bank's innovative Extra Helpings prepared and perishable food recovery program collects more than 100,000 pounds of food per month from area restaurants, markets, bakeries, caterers, and farmers' markets and distributes these to member agencies.

so they can together improve student learning. The Coalition nurtures
