your legislators.

Check our web site from time to time for updates on the legislation
and your impact on it.
Find out the phone and fax number of your state Assemblymembers
and Senator by calling the Capitol Switchboard at (916) 657-9900,
or by going to www.leginfo.ca.gov/yourleg.html. All you need is
your zip code.
Urge your legislators
to oppose budget cuts to programs that help the poor and to support
whatever measures that help the poor.
Contact Your Governor
Call or fax Governor Schwarzenegger and let him know that cutting
welfare, health, housing and food stamp programs for the poor
is not an acceptable way to balance the budget. If the Sacramento
